This policy explains cookies and similar technologies for Internet Speed Test under GDPR and Romanian Law no. 506/2004.

5. Hosting, caching, and the measurement host
When you load a page, your browser requests HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and images from Netlify. That request creates connection data (see the Privacy Policy). The browser may keep an HTTP cache of those static files. Caching is not a cookie.
When a live test runs, the browser talks to https://speed-measure.alexandrujungean.workers.dev. That host uses a hashed IP for rate limits. That is not a cookie on this origin.
We cannot promise that every component of a global CDN will never attach a strictly technical cookie for load balancing or security outside our application code. If we learn that a non-essential cookie is set on this origin, we will update this inventory and, if required, ask for consent before it is used.
6. How you can control cookies
You can delete cookies and site data, block third-party cookies, or use private browsing in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop this UI, because it does not depend on cookies.
7. Third parties
- Netlify delivers the static UI and processes connection logs.
- Cloudflare delivers the measurement Worker when that host is live.
- Google may crawl public pages as an independent search operator.
- alexjungean.com is a different site if you follow the portfolio or Other tools links.

1. Cookie-uri
Aplicația nu setează cookie-uri first-party și nu scrie localStorage, sessionStorage sau IndexedDB. Nu există banner de consimțământ, deoarece nu există cookie-uri neesențiale. Search Console este verificat printr-o înregistrare DNS TXT, nu printr-un cookie de tracking din această aplicație.
2. Gazda și măsurarea
Netlify livrează UI-ul static. Browserul poate păstra un cache HTTP; cache-ul nu este un cookie. Un test live vorbește cu https://speed-measure.alexandrujungean.workers.dev; hash-ul de rată nu este un cookie pe acest origin. Dacă aflăm că un cookie neesențial este setat pe acest origin, actualizăm inventarul și, dacă legea o cere, cerem consimțământul.
3. Control în browser
Poți șterge cookie-urile și datele site-ului sau poți folosi navigarea privată. Blocarea cookie-urilor nu oprește acest UI.
